Completing the lap of Australia is one of my travel dreams. Having always lived in Australia I've been fortunate enough to see lots of beautiful parts of the country over time, but I'm now in the process of doing a series of adventures to complete the big driving lap around the coast, and a few major outback road trips.

Trip 1 was completed in August 2025, driving from New South Wales to South Australia to see Lake Eyre, via the Flinders ranges.
Trip 2 was completed in October 2025 driving from New South Wales down to Torquay in Victoria and following the coast around to Adelaide, via the Great Ocean Road and Kangaroo Island.
Trip 3 was visiting the Yorke Penninsula in January 2026.
Trip 4 is scheduled to kick off mid 2026 travelling up through central Queensland, across to Darwin, and down through the centre.
All going well Trip 5 will start in January 2027, heading to Port Augusta to follow the coast across to WA, up the Western Australian coast, across the top of Australia and back down the coast from Queensland.
The biggest trips 4 and 5 will be caravanning adventures.
